Some general info about this type of surgery. It's laser surgery and takes 20-30 minutes. The patient needs to stay two nights in the hospital and is not allowed to talk for 3 weeks. He will then require ten lessions in vocal training. After two months he should be able to sing.

Hopefully Bill has already has had the surgery in secrecy last week, and now is resting. He has some serious scary stalker fans in Hamburg who I hope now for the first time in 2,5 years will leave him alone but I don't count on it. `
